my Slackware 9.1 installation has /lib/libtermcap.so.2 and
/lib/libtermcap.so.2.0.8, but no libtermcap.so.

linking of mysql-client fails because ld can't find libtermcap.
either creating a libtermcap.so symlink (ick), or passing the path
to libtermcap.so.2 makes it work.

any ideas how to approach "fixing" this situation in pkgsrc?
