I am probably too late. But what about xlibs (freedesktop.org and others?)

Maybe the the option should be like the following?

# Used to install X Windowing System standard libraries from packages
# Possible: not defined (use native), XFree86, or Xlibs
# Default: not defined

(By the way, I have a freedesktop.org acount and I do a little work on it
there too.)
