 I am as of today, on my Solaris2.8 boxes.

 One of three boxes failed to (re)build several packages.  Then I realized all
three had the old /usr/pkg/gcc-3.3/ path hard coded in /usr/pkg/bin/*libtool.
Re-installing libtool-base fixed that.

 My only apparent problem:

    #lintpkgsrc -i
    Scanning pkgsrc Makefiles: 4389 packages                           
    Unknown package: 'gcc3-c++' version 3.3.2
    Unknown package: 'gcc3-c' version 3.3.2
