tech-pkg: gcc3-c++ doesn't build on Red Hat 7.3

Hi,

I'm using CVS bootstrap-pkgsrc and CVS pkgsrc on Red Hat 7.3. 
Installing lang/gcc3-c is successful.  But trying to install gcc3-c++ 
gives the following error:

/usr/pkgsrc/lang/gcc3-c++/work/gcc-3.3.2/gcc/xgcc 
-B/usr/pkgsrc/lang/gcc3-c++/work/gcc-3.3.2/gcc/

-isystem /usr/pkg/gcc3/i386-pc-linux/include -O2 -O2 -march=pentiumpro

configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler 
cannot create executables.
make: *** [configure-target-libiberty] Error 1

What can be the problem?  What other information can I provide to you?
