What probably happened, is that the ftp client took the server's error
message as the file to be fetched. See if
"/usr/pkgsrc/distfiles/randrext-1.0.tar.bz2" is a little text file. In
any case, delete it. Now set FAILOVER_FETCH=YES in "/etc/mk.conf", and
try again.
