Yes, but I was talking about out-of-the-box (you know, non-pkgsrc) builds.
Those shouldn't be punished when there is an easy workaround.  :)

That doesn't mean we shouldn't work around it in pkgsrc.  I just want to
make sure the workaround gets back to off-the-shelf libtool too.
