What is the correct way to get a build system to first try a specific ftp
server to fetch distfiles?

I have 800+ distfiles and instead of retrieving over internet, I want to
get a new box to grab via my local system.

I tried:

_MASTER_SITE_OVERRIDE=ftp://192.168.0.2/

But it seems to be ignored or wrong.

(I don't want NFS, because I actually need distfiles and I don't want to
transfer all.)
