pkgsrc/mk/compiler/{gcc|mipspro}.mk say about _COMPILER_LD_FLAG: "...
passes flags to the linker ...".
Is _COMPILER_LD_FLAG tp be passed to the linker (as stated) or to the
compiler (as the name implies)? With some linkers/compilers that could
make a difference.
