However, shouldn't the pkgsrc version be preferred?
ROOT n52:/usr/pkgsrc/www/mozilla> bmake show-var VARNAME=PREFER_PKGSRC
MesaLib Xft2 Xrandr Xrender expat fontconfig freetype2 glu randrext render
xcursor
Additionally I have this:
ROOT n52:/usr/pkgsrc/www/mozilla> ls -l
work/.buildlink/include/freetype2/freetype/ftcache.h
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 45 Jun 23 15:26
work/.buildlink/include/freetype2/freetype/ftcache.h ->
/usr/pkg/include/freetype2/freetype/ftcache.h
I'm leaving my PC to compile things over night after doing this:
# chmod 0 /usr/bin/freetype-config
# mv /usr/include/freetype2 /usr/include/freetype2.orig
I'll let you know what happens...
