Yes, I followed the discussion. My colleagues did not push for 14, yet, and
for the above reasons neither did I.

Matlab 13, on the other hand, can be run with the Java IDE (JDK 1.1.8) on
NetBSD 1.6.2. The same setup on 2.0 gives me a dozen stalled Java
processes. JDK 1.3.x doesn't work on either OS release.
