I wrote a package many years ago and never got around to making them
into a package.  I have finally done so and made them available at;

ftp://ftp.druid.net/pub/distrib/generate_package.tgz
ftp://ftp.druid.net/pub/distrib/py-generate_package.tgz

A short description can be found at
http://www.druid.net/darcy/readme-generate.html.  Does anyone have a
problem with me adding them to the pkgsrc tree?  Is devel the right
category?  That's what I use it for but it may have more generic uses.
