So I'm trying to build the gnome meta package...  First the build hung 
on epiphany...  I commented out epiphany from the makefile and tried 
again.  I got much further, but it's now hanging on gnome2-media.  In 
both cases, it hangs during the configure phase of those two packages.

gnome2-media:

checking GSTPROPS_LIBS...

epiphany:

checking EPIPHANY_DEPENDENCY_LIBS...

And it just hangs there for hours...  pkg-config is actually what's running.

This is on a 3.99.3 system.

Any ideas?
