Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that the initial problem was the same.
Nevertheless, the failure is similar.

The  /usr/sbin/pkg_info -K . -qp ${BUILDLINK_PKGNAME.${_pkg_}}
command should not be run when ${BUILDLINK_PKGNAME.${_pkg_}} is empty.

It should have some error that explains why. Or something to catch this.
