Fot the pkglint output.
Now it looks like this:
WARN: changes:20: Trailing empty lines.
FATAL: DISTNAME has to be there.
WARN: t:298: Trailing empty lines.
1 errors and 2 warnings found.
but it would look like this after your changes:
warning: changes:20: Trailing empty lines.
error: DISTNAME has to be there.
warning: t:298: Trailing empty lines.
1 errors and 2 warnings found.
this doesn't makes it easier to read the output.

Its hard to get the OK if you get warning like this:
WARN: PKGNAME is ${DISTNAME} by default, you don't need to define PKGNAME.
And no, I didn't define PKGNAME in that Makefile.

Isn't the sole reason for using pkglint the task to find problems and
you expect to get either an OK or some ERROR or WARNING messages?
