  No, it is intended as documentation of which variables a user can
set in $MAKECONF (/etc/mk.conf).  It is important to list variables
that affect only one package, as there is no other place listing them.

  The ``important'' variables (affecting most packages) should be
listed first, followed by package-specific variables.
