I am also getting this. I didn't get on my previous build system.

I tried adding to the Makefile:
UNLIMIT_RESOURCES+=     datasize

But that didn't help me.

For me that is:

$ make show-var VARNAME=_ULIMIT_CMD
ulimit -d `ulimit -H -d`;
$ ulimit -H -d  
3145728
