I've never gotten "make replace" to work, which means I'm probably
doing something wrong. :)
Probably.
Install pkgtools/pkg_tarup first; make replace should depend on
that, but it doesn't.
What happens if you start with no stale work dirs, find a package
that's slightly out of date, cd to /usr/pkgsrc/foo/bar and so
sudo make replace package clean
?
