The Dewey Decimal system also implies a sort ordering, and that's the
real issue.  So perhaps we need to see "pkgsrc Version Total Ordering
Scheme (PVTOS)" and pronounce it piv-tos.  Having proposed that,
leaving well enough alone might be ok too.
