Because I was in the process of updating all gnome packages to 2.18
when the freeze went into effect.

I fixed most problems caused by the update already, only the packages
that I couldn't build because libgtop2 was broken were skipped. I'll
try to fix it tonight, but I'm not unhappy if someone beats me to it.
The changes are mechanic, and the 2.18 files can be used as reference
what needs to be changed/added.

No, please don't do that. Most of the effort on fixing it is already
spent.
