Yes, please. Examples of issues:
(a) I'm building packages with / mounted read-only for obvious reasons.
This braks e.g. majordomo that wants to use /home by default.
(b) I have to special case qmail, because some parts at least fail badly
if left-overs from failed installations etc. exist.
