I do not get those messages. It looks as if somehow the variable
MAKE_PARAMS contains something like LICENSE=blabla, which then gets
forwarded to MakeMaker.
What does
$ make show-var VARNAME=MAKE_PARAMS
show?

I merged your packages with the existing ones in pkgsrc-wip and imported
them to pkgsrc.
