Anyone ever play around with this?  It's
a very small C program which I put in
pkgsrc-wip/jlibtool.  I've had good luck thusfar
with simply setting LIBTOOL=${PREFIX}/jlibtool,
though I'm sure there are reasons that it's
marked experimental.

Personally, I think the C code is easier to read
than the GNU libtool script.  I figure that
this could be of benefit in pkgsrc--at least as
much as anything else that reduces the amount
of shell code could be. ;)
