Hello,

I've had issues building autogen 5.9.3; the build hangs (at least for
over 5 minutes) when processing opts.def.  5.9.4 builds fine.  I'm not
sure what is causing this, as I haven't had time to look into it, but
I think it's probably related to this:

agen5/autogen.c: (doneCheck): the option strings are gone by the time
doneCheck is called [ ... ]
Use a global "trace_is_to_pipe" to track whether trace output is going
to a trace or a file

I think it would be best to fix this before release time.
