Sorry, your line of argument doesn't work. If pkgsrc wants detailed
control over the workings of the mk files, it should assume ownership.
Which is in fact exactly what I think we should do.

Wether the change was a bad choice for other reasons is beyond the
scope of this thread. Feel free to take it up on tech-userlevel.
