Hi! I'm trying to package qtscriptgenerator for amarok2. The problem I'm facing is that it compiles fine, but installation fails because of missing .lai files. The installation errors out like this: /usr/bin/install -c -o root -g wheel -m 755 .libs/libqtscript_xml.so.1.0.0 /scratch/nih/qtscriptgenerator/work/.destdir/usr/pkg/qt4/plugins/script/libqtscript_xml.so.1.0.0 (cd /scratch/nih/qtscriptgenerator/work/.destdir/usr/pkg/qt4/plugins/script && { ln -s -f libqtscript_xml.so.1.0.0 libqtscript_xml.so.1 || { rm -f libqtscript_xml.so.1 && ln -s libqtscript_xml.so.1.0.0 libqtscript_xml.so.1; }; }) (cd /scratch/nih/qtscriptgenerator/work/.destdir/usr/pkg/qt4/plugins/script && { ln -s -f libqtscript_xml.so.1.0.0 libqtscript_xml.so || { rm -f libqtscript_xml.so && ln -s libqtscript_xml.so.1.0.0 libqtscript_xml.so; }; }) /usr/bin/install -c -o root -g wheel -m 755 .libs/libqtscript_xml.lai /scratch/nih/qtscriptgenerator/work/.destdir/usr/pkg/qt4/plugins/script/libqtscript_xml.la install: .libs/libqtscript_xml.lai: stat: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 Stop. From browsing the web it might have something to do with the library only being a convenience library, but I don't know how to tell libtool via qmake that it's a plain library to install. (Is our qmake.conf in qt4-tools incorrect?) Any ideas? Thomas
