Upgrade modular Xorg?

Is there any plan to upgrade modular Xorg in pkgsrc?
While solving an issue described here

I locally upgraded several X packages including

  x11/xf86-video-nv
  x11/xf86-input-mouse
  x11/xf86-input-keyboard
  x11/xextproto
  x11/modular-xorg-server
  x11/inputproto
  x11/fixesproto
  devel/xorg-util-macros

to the latest versions and created a new one

  wip/modular-xorg-nv-current

and have patches if anybody need them.

Motivation for upgrade: latest xv(4), nouveau(4) and maybe others need
Xorg server >= 1.7. Obviously latest graphic cards require latest drivers
as well.

Patches may need review and further improvements but I think they are
better than nothing.
