It is strange...
I have never committed xulrunner of 10.0.6esrpre, and
mail/thunderbird10 does not use xulrunner from devel//xulrunner10.

(1) Could you provide me more information?
For example,
* uname -a
* echo $LANG
* dmesg
* /var/log/Xorg.0.log
and so on.

(2) Could you try to run "thunderbird10 -g"?

(3) Could you try to run thunderbird10 with empty profile
(remove or rename ~/.thunderbird/)?
