2012q4 broken packages list
I have been moving the data from hand-edited text files to a database
of sorts, and so now there's a web page again:
http://www.netbsd.org/~dholland/broken/
Click on the column headings to sort, except for the 'state' one,
which hides/shows fixed issues.
The page is not enormously smart yet, but it's a start.
There are 445 issues posted; however, this includes the clang and
gcc47 builds. There hasn't been a mainline build in a couple weeks.
Here are the failures that I believe to be regressions affecting most
or many users, including the thing we think broke them when it's
known/readily discernable:
audio/akode-plugins-ffmpeg (ffmpeg)
audio/gst-plugins1-jack (ffmpeg)
audio/hydrogen (scons)
audio/padevchooser
databases/myodbc (cmake)
devel/ProjectCenter
devel/opal
devel/p5-SDL (perl)
emulators/wine-devel (libxml2)
filesystems/openafs
games/craft
graphics/blender
graphics/gri (perl)
graphics/ns-cult3d
graphics/osg (ffmpeg)
lang/parrot
lang/tcl-itcl (tcl)
lang/tcl-itcl-current (tcl)
mail/mailagent (perl)
misc/nxtvepg (perl)
multimedia/ffmpegthumbnailer (ffmpeg)
multimedia/vlc10 (ffmpeg)
net/nasd (perl)
net/p5-Net-GitHub (fetch failed)
net/p5-Net-LibIDN (perl)
print/scribus (cmake)
print/scribus-qt4 (cmake)
security/libprelude-perl (perl?)
textproc/p5-XML-LibXML (perl)
www/kdewebdev3 (libxml2)
www/wml
x11/nucleo (ffmpeg)
x11/xkbset
Of these the highest-visibility ones to target are probably blender
and osg (as osg breaks flightgear), and also p5-Net-LibIDN (but that's
a bit more complicated...)
