Can you please change it first so the distfile is either placed into
its own DIST_SUBDIR (since it's just called 0.9.8.tar.gz) or using the
MASTER_SITES=-http://... trick, that it has a better name?

For the trick, see e.g. devel/gitolite/Makefile.

P.S. Please avoid version numbers in wip directory names; would you
have renamed it to acr-0.9.9 if upstream had released a fixed version
for your man page fix?
