While bootstrapping on OS X 10.9 with a pkgsrc tree checked out with CVSREAD=t (and thus source files 444), I get: cat ./libarchive/test/test_*.c | grep DEFINE_TEST > libarchive/test/list.h sh: line 2: libarchive/test/list.h: Permission denied *** [libarchive/test/list.h] Error code 1 bmake: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/bootstrap/work/wrk/pkgtools/pkg_install/work/libarchive 1 error This is not really a bootstrapping issue; it happens in other situation.s It looks like the issue is trying to write libarchive/test/list.h. So I wonder if list.h should be not checked in, if it's a generated file, or if the Makefile should be changed to rm it first, or something else.
