As I understand it, there was apr0, used with apache 1.3, and apr1, used with apache 2.0 and up. Or mabe 2.0 could use either. Subversion could be built with either, at least earlier, and this was necessary in order to be able to build the apache module for either 1.3, 2.0 or 2.2. The Makefiles for apache22 and apache24 both include devel/apr and seem to depend on >= 1.5. So it looks like a buggy check for apr version in svn 1.9.1. I am curious what Adam thinks.
