While updating, I found out that for building (but not for running!) the latest py-cryptography, it needs rust.
Do we have any reason to think that the non-Rust version will be de-supported any time soon?
How difficult would it be to maintain a non-Rust version alongside of the Rust version?
Personally I use security/acmesh so this wouldn't affect my rather large collection of Rust-less machines, but if other packages start falling off, I'm afraid this would end up creating two tiers of pkgsrc.
