That's my theory.

But fixing it doesn't make it work!  *sigh*  I suppose I should send in
the patch to adopt the canonical form, but it doesn't actually reboot for
me anyway.  It shouldn't even matter; so far as I can tell, if you set
the reset bits, the chip should reset regardless.
