That's exactly what I'd prefer, personally.  It is important to me to be
able to maintain exactly one /usr/obj tree, and somehow
/usr/obj/obj.${MACHINE} seems, um, `wrong.'  (I don't like
src/share/man8/man8.${MACHINE}, either, to be truthful.)
