Make sure you read src/tools/compat/README. It states that /bin/sh as-is
does not work. It also states that SUNWspro has not been tested.
With that said, your other error (missing htonl) is probably from a missing
#include, since it's a do-nothing on sparc (which is big-endian). I'll
check that out.
