I now have a small C program that lints kernel configs for missing
<space><tab>. (It is probably not feasible to rewrite it as not a C
program.) It has been suggested that this should be committed
somewhere, but given that it's a C program I'm not sure what a good
place would be. It is not worth going to the trouble of installing it
or formally making a tool out of it. Ideas?

(It doesn't look particularly feasible to add it to config's input
logic, unfortunately.)
