This bug was already fixed and as best as I can recall the fix was
pulled up to the netbsd-4 branch. If you want such fixes, use the
stable branch. The release is a particular version (rather old now)
and nobody's going to go retcon it to include later fixes.

(I have no idea if the fix is in the netbsd-4-0 branch, although it
shouldn't be hard to figure it out via cvs log.)
