I was just building netbsd-10 on a newly installed system, and I noticed this:How did you install? The usual paths will push you really hard to set up entropy if the hardware does not provide a good source.
I'm trying to test something that's puzzling me going from NetBSD 6-> later NetBSD, so I untarxz'd the sets except etc over a NetBSD 6.0 system, then ran postinstall. Yes, the installer does a good job encouraging entropy :)
I'm just thinking that a program which uses randomness to name temp files shouldn't care about the quality of randomness, unless knowing the names would lead to a security issue (in which case there are bigger problems).
