Can we please rename /var/run/syslog.socket to /var/run/log?
Reasons:
- Keep the old "file"name (log)
- Be consistent with FreeBSD. Some Netscape binaries (and probably
others) have /var/run/log compiled in ...
I think that would be worth it (besides that I don't think encoding a
filesystem entity's most likely type into a filename buys us much).
If you want, I can make the change (src/sys/sys/syslog.h,
src/usr.sbin/syslogd/syslogd.8, anywhere else?)
