There are two solutions for this:
* If you insist to run calendar as superuser globally, run calendar
(the program) only on one machine, ideally the fileserver (if there=20
are multiple homedirectory servers, the server holding the files of
the most, or the most important users).
* If you don't, educate users that need the service to start calendar=20
nightly in their personal crontab on a single machine of their choice.
