Some of the more extensive stuff - wildcarding and such - might wait, but
I'm now convinced that this is the Right Way to do years, as opposed to my
@1999 goo.

Once my brain clears out (very ill, dehydrated, headache right now) I'll
look at how calendar(1) does date parsing now, and see about updating my
changes to do this. This is just obviously better.

In the far future, I think it would be cool to only support ISO dating,
incidentally. Anything else is ambiguous.
