Yes, and I don't care for the default or the docuemted config suggestion,
realy. For a long time I thought the netmask would be completely ignored
for point2point interfaces, but then I started to use gre tunnels and
learned that it is sometimes usefull.

So everything that allows the user to change it is OK with me.
