$ gcc -v

gcc version 3.3.3 (NetBSD nb3 20040520)

Shouldn't this be changed to reflect the build itself ? 
For example:
$ gcc -v 
Using built-in specs.
Configured with: /usr/src/tools/gcc/../../gnu/dist/configure ....
