I don't want replace the existing pax-as-tar, that's why I ask whether
we want to have the source in base.

Pro:
- can read ISO image :-)
- it should be faster
- actually maintainable code

Contra:
- currently doesn't support --use-compress-program (I intent to fix that
anyway)
- by design no support for non-streamable formats, so no update either
- could need some work to support the other pax features
