Hi!
Are there any plans to chage the fontconfig and Xft2 pkgs to use XFree's=20
(4.3.x) versions of the libs ? Or are there any problems doing this ?
If not, then there some other issues to sort out.. After building 4.3 I've=20
removed fontconfig/freetype/Xft2 and all dependencies. After reinstalling=20
gtk2, I got pkgsrc fontconfig and Xft2 again, but this time like:
leeloo% ldd /usr/pkg/lib/libXft.so
/usr/pkg/lib/libXft.so.2.0:
-lX11.6 =3D> /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6
-lXext.6 =3D> /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6
-lXrender.1 =3D> /usr/X11R6/lib/libXrender.so.1
-lfreetype.9 =3D> /usr/X11R6/lib/libfreetype.so.9
-lexpat.1 =3D> /usr/X11R6/lib/libexpat.so.1
-lfontconfig.1 =3D> /usr/X11R6/lib/libfontconfig.so.1
Other libs like libgdk-x11-2.0.so are linked against the libfontconfig in=20
/usr/pkg/lib and the one in /usr/X11R6/lib.
Regards,
Marc
