hi,

i have a dell 500m with a integrated intel 855GM chip.
this chip can do 1400x1050 and has 65MB ram.
i'm running 1.6.2_RC3 with a GENERIC kernel.

so, here's the problem:
i just can startx in 640x480@8.
the error is:
(EE) GARTInit: Unable to open /dev/agpgart (Device not configured)

# dmesg | grep vga
vga1 at pci0 dev 2 function 0: Intel 82855PM GMCH Integrated Graphics Device 
(rev. 0x02)

i would really appreciate any help,
