Under the new 4.4.0 import, either done as a build in /usr/xsrc or via /usr/src/x11
I'm seeing much worse font rendering in browser. -This is without changing from
the linux firefox-bin instance.

I'm wondering if this is the freetype/freetype2/xtt issue, and what the current
recommended procedure is? 

Is there some 'ordering' change I can make in XF86Config to modules/fonts?

Do I just install freetype2 from pkgsrc?

Is there something different in computed font hinting inputs?
