Hello

I committed the patch to fix the flickering screen problem for X11 
on the iBook G4. The patch could have some side effects: it involves 
special tweaks usefull only for the iBook G4, but it does them for
any Radeon mobility chip in a PowerPC machine.

Please report me any problems with Radeon video chips on PowerPC machines
after this change.

Next question: should this change be pulled-up to 2.0, ot do we decide we
won't have enough feedback of possible side effects before 2.0 release?
