Hello,

    I got the exactly same problem as Thor Lancelot Simon today. Mozilla 
Thunderbird runs fine but Mozilla Firefox failed with 'XDM 
authorization'. I am using firefox and netbsd-current:

$> pkg_info | grep firefox
firefox-0.10.1      Lightweight gecko-based web browser
$> uname -a
NetBSD mad 2.99.10 NetBSD 2.99.10 (GENERIC) #0: Wed Oct 27 04:26:24 CEST 
2004  root@mad:/usr/obj/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC i386

    Restarting XDM (ie: /etc/rc.d/xdm stop and start) didn't resolve the 
problem but
restarting my computer resolve it !
