Xorg stuck in drmlk2

Hey folks --

I finally managed to get DRI "working" on my Eee PC. I'm using MesaLib 
from pkgsrc-wip, and had to downgrade to xf86-video-intel-2.1.1.

In any case, I ran glxgears to test it from an ssh session, the gears were 
spinning fine. The trouble was when I ^C'd it:

   3913 jmcneill  85    0  1780K   11M drmlk2     0:04  0.05%  0.05% Xorg

Mouse cursor moves, display is frozen. Any ideas?
